Legal notices should be sent to info@fong-chow.com and, where formal service is required, by post to the registered office above, marked for the attention of the Legal desk. Notices to you will be sent to the contact details held on your account.

3.1 Our marks

“Fong Chow”, the Fong Chow logotype and device, and our product and series names are trade marks of Fong Chow International (HK) Co., Ltd., registered in certain jurisdictions and asserted at common law in others.

3.2 Permitted use

• Use our marks only to identify genuine Fong Chow equipment you are authorized to sell or service.
• Use the artwork supplied in our brand assets, unaltered, uncolored beyond the supplied variants, and not animated or combined with other marks.
• Do not use our marks in your own logo, company name, domain name, app name, social handle or advertising identity without our written consent.
• Do not register any mark, domain or company name that incorporates or imitates ours.

3.3 Third-party and certification marks

Certification, safety and standards marks appearing on our products or documentation, and the marks of the bodies that issue them, belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the certification actually held by the product concerned. Reference to a standard, body or third-party product implies no endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation in either direction.

5.1 Model and market specific

Certification, voltage, plug type, refrigerant and approval status are specific to a model and to a market. A certificate held by one model does not extend to another, and a mark valid in one market does not imply approval in another.

5.2 Documentation

Current certificates, test reports and declarations of conformity are issued per model and per shipment on request. Where a certificate has lapsed or a product has been revised, the version supplied with the shipment governs.

5.3 Importer responsibilities

Before importing, reselling or installing, confirm the approvals, labelling, registration and electrical requirements of the destination market. We will supply the documentation, but the importer of record remains responsible for local compliance, registration, product labelling and any market-specific instructions or safety notices.

Photography, renderings and drawings on this site are illustrative. Finishes, fittings, controls and supplied accessories vary by production batch and market, and specifications are subject to change without notice as products are improved. The governing specification is the one stated in the order acknowledgement for your order.

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, a binding price, or a guarantee of availability; see our Terms of Use, section 5.

Application guidance — sizing, air changes, containment, drying strategy — is general information, not engineering advice for a specific site. Final selection, installation and commissioning remain the responsibility of the specifier, contractor or engineer of record.

Warranty and support are available only for equipment supplied by us or by an authorized distributor. We do not support goods bearing our marks that were obtained outside that chain, and we pursue counterfeit and grey-market goods that carry them.

If you are offered equipment presented as ours and want it verified, send the serial and nameplate details to info@fong-chow.com and we will confirm its origin.

Our goods and technical data may be subject to the export control, customs and sanctions laws of Hong Kong, the People's Republic of China, the United States and other jurisdictions.

• All orders are screened against restricted-party and embargoed-destination lists and accepted subject to any license or authorization required.
• Customers and distributors must not export, re-export, transship or divert our goods in breach of those laws, and must pass the same obligation to their own customers.
• We suspend or cancel supply where a transaction cannot be cleared, and we may require end-use or end-user statements.

Our manufacturing partners are held to written requirements covering labor practices, working hours, worker safety, prohibited materials and restricted substances, verified through our own factory inspections and corrective-action process.

Our supplier code, restricted-substance list and current audit position are available to customers on request.

If you believe material on this site infringes your rights, write to info@fong-chow.com with the URL, a description of the work concerned, the basis of your claim, and your contact details. We investigate promptly and remove or amend material where the claim is substantiated.

These notices are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Sales contracts are governed by the law stated in the applicable Terms of Sale, which may differ where the contracting entity is our United States affiliate.
